Artist | Bio
I am an interdisciplinary artist born in Minsk, Belarus, and rooted in London. I work predominantly across written and performed language, painting, and multisensory installation.
Grounded in my early training in philosophy and my interest in expanded states of consciousness, I consider self-exploration as a tool for understanding the nature of reality. I question the subconscious narratives we use to frame our experience, seeking to make them visible, malleable, and unfixed. In particular, I am interested in the self- and reality-defining scripts we internalise in response to fear, guilt, shame, and misplaced trust in authority.
My work is playful and irreverent. Frequently employing my voice and somatic practices as well as intuitive mark-making, free association, and wordplay in order to break out of my own habits of perception, I describe my practice as a celebration of consciousness.
My work holds space for the uncontainable weirdness of being and helps navigate the radical freedom of choice over our own belief systems.
It serves as a reliable conduit and companion for expanded states of consciousness, a space of maximum malleability of deep-seated beliefs and habits of perception.
